ForeX Trading for Maximum Profit: The Best Kept Secret Off Wall Street by Raghee Horner
Summary: One of the best introductory books on forex I have seen. Unlike the window shopping type beginner books that just browse over all the basic topics, Ms. Horner, a professional trader, documented a complete trading method in the book. The details are there as long as you are willing to read the book slowly to absorb the materials. Anyone who want to jump ship from trading equities into the forex markets will find this book a great starting point. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn trading forex profitably.

Review
The book is like a mini course on trading forex. Started with explanation about the forex market, readers are then brought straight into the world of forex trading with all aspects covered. It is obvious that Ms. Horner must have taught many students before this book was written because no time is wasted on unnecessary topics.
After the basics are covered, the tools needed to apply the author’s trading method are introduced. One by one, they are covered with many examples to illustrate the points. Since the author is a technical trader, drawing tools and indicators are her primary tools. Her style in applying the tools are straightforward and easy to follow.
Next part in the book, Ms. Horner shows the readers how to integrate the techniques discussed into a coherent decision making process. This part covers the one area where traders often find the most difficult to master – how to make your trading decision in a logical manner. Many examples are provided. Not just examples with successful outcome are shown. There are also examples on handling trades when they are not working out.
The rest of the books provides information that cannot be organized easily but are important enough that beginners should be aware of. Nice tips and tricks section there. I cannot help but smile when I read the part about the author’s mother being a trader.
Overall a well written book that cover all the grounds necessary to get someone to start trading forex, properly and profitably.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who is interested in forex trading.
