This is the start of my forex journals, I mainly use 1 hour and 4 hours chart to trade 6 major pairs (i.e. EUR/USD, USD/JPY, GBP/USD, USD/CHF, USD/CAD and AUD/USD).

Just go long on GBPUSD at 1.6025 seems price is holding up at year mid point and short term it is showing a higher low.
Reviewing your posts here, it appears that your trades multi-day swing trades. You posted “looking to short … EURUSD and AUDUSD.” However you went short GBPUSD. From this, I assume you watch multiple pairs and choose one or more with the best odds. Can you kindly confirm the duration of your trades and the time frame you trade from.
Just go long on GBPUSD at 1.6025 seems price is holding up at year mid point and short term it is showing a higher low.
Cut my GBP position at 1.5916 major support of year 50% will be resistance.
Trade lost 108 pips.

Today FOMC meeting looking for more economy stimulates news, bad for USD port of the reason why I think USD is a short.
No QE3 my short USD positions are all toasted.
Cut everything lost over 800 pips, now go into reverse mode and look for USD long.

Scratch GBP short at 1.5619
I am trading from 1 hour and 4 hour charts using moving averages and support and resistance level from 4 hour chart.
Long AUDUSD at 0.9734 stop 0.9630 initial target 0.9830
0.9800 will be resistance for AUD, lower high break down neckline for hourly chart.
