Reflection During This Easter Weekend
Just completed a review of Mr. Ray Dalio’s book Princples. It is different kind of book for traders. It is available free from Bridgewater’s website. The original version of the book got Mr. Dalio into hot water situation not long ago. I am not defending his work in my review because there is no need to.
That brings me into thinking what happened lately to my work and the website.
Several people cloned my work and charging $100 (and more) per month for the use of very similar materials.
Some articles are copied and reposted without reference to daytradingbias.com or my name. I am not sure how far this copying has spread. It is just odd seeing people doing that.
Should I be angry because my work is cloned?
Or should I be happy that people find my work so interesting that it is worth stealing?
I know I can easily charge $100 a month for the real-time chat and the premium services offered at my site but that will defeat the purpose of helping traders to become profitable. Yet when I am not charging a high price people thought there is nothing there for them to learn. It is funny how perception can deceive.
I am not going to worry about these things for now.
This is my weekend to relax.
Happy Holidays!
