Solutions To Sign Up / Email Issues
If you encounter problem during registration, take your time to read this article.
1. After you entered your email address and pressed the register button on the registration form, you have to check your email account for the activation/confirmation email.
You should receive the email within a few minutes.
You have to follow the link in the email to continue with your registration.
It is not a trick and it is not optional. We have to verify that it is not a bot signing up at our website.
And, no, it is not something we have forgotten to tell you. This same notice is placed right there on top of the field where you would enter the email address.
2. If you cannot find the validation email in your inbox immediately after you press the register button, just wait for a few minutes.
Sometimes it takes more than a few minutes for an email to show up because the Internet does not deliver emails quickly all the time. The longest time we’ve heard of is about 15 minutes.
3. After a few minutes and that you still cannot find the email in your inbox, please check your spam folder or junk folder.
Some email services like gmail and yahoo mail (and email programs like Outlook) auto filter emails that they think are spam. Yet they often make mistakes in the process. You need to look into the junk/spam folder to see if the verification email has landed in there.
Once you located the email, you should mark the email as not junk/spam and whitelist our email address so that you will not encounter the same problem in the future.
A few hints below if you cannot find the junk/spam folder.
Gmail do not show all the the folders by default. You probably will see an item more at the bottom of the folder list. Click on that to show the other folders. Gmail uses the Spam folder to hold the filtered emails.
Yahoo mail hides the other folders under the Folders section. The Spam folder should be listed above that. If you do not see the Spam folder as one of the items right below Inbox, you can expand the Folders section to see if it is organized there.
Outlook stores filtered emails in the folder Junk E-mail.
4. After taking the steps above if you still cannot activate your account, your ISP could be blocking email from us all together.
We’ve learned that several US Internet Service Providers (ISPs) intentionally block websites hosted by their major competitors in web hosting services in the name of stopping email spam problems.
After multiple rounds of discussion / negotiation with these firms, it is obvious to us that their interest is not to protect their customers but to force small companies to use their web hosting services instead.
Well, it is a problem. Even if we choose to give in to these blackmailing, we cannot chop our website into multiple pieces to satisfy them all.
Notice that if your ISP is the culprit, we will not be able to response to your emails at all because all our replies will be blocked.
The only solution in this situation is to use an email address that is not controlled by the same ISP to sign up or to correspond with us.
Many of our members use gmail or yahoo mail with no problem at all. Maybe you can give them a try.
5. After all else failed, you can always contact sales@daytradingbias.com for help.
Just remember that if your problem is not receiving email response from us in the first place as in #4 above, you need to use another email address to make sure we can reply to you without problems.
Maybe offtopic, but I have a problem with the login in that it doesn’t “remember me” and I have to regularly login again. Is this the intended functionality?
