ES broken out of the thin up channel but it did not result in a pullback. The week turned into consolidation. Closed the week above Y+1 and midpoint.
Outlook
Consolidation above Y+1 is actually bullish for at least a retest of B+1. But B+1 is so close there is not much incentive there. Next week is option expiration. With 2050 round number right above, a FBO to get near there is a possibility. However, op ex settlement level is in favour of 2000-2020 area.
